Accessing the Access Types Screen

To manage the access types (register statuses) used in access control events, navigate via the side menu: Records > Access Types.


Filtering Access Types

Use the status filter at the top of the screen:

  • All: Shows all types (active and inactive).
  • Active: Lists only active types.
  • Inactive: Shows only deactivated types.

Use the Search field to locate a type by description. Results update automatically.


Search and Display

The table displays:

  • Description: Name of the access type.
  • Actions: Options to edit, deactivate/activate, and delete.

Adding an Access Type

To add a new access type, click Add access type in the screen header.

Fill in the field:

  1. Description: Enter the name of the access type (required).

Click Save to confirm the registration.


Editing an Access Type

To edit an existing type, click the edit icon (pencil) on the corresponding row. After changing the description, click Save.


Removing an Access Type

To deactivate or remove an access type:

  • Click the delete icon (trash) to deactivate the type. A confirmation dialog will be displayed.
  • To reactivate an inactive type, click the reactivation icon.
